The Play that Wasn't

We loaded up our buses.  We had our lunches packed to go.  We allotted 3 hours for a 90 minute journey into central London.  2 hours into the trip we turned around and headed back to Oxford.  We have never aborted an excursion before - especially NOT a play!  But after sitting on the M4 for 75 minutes trying to get to the next possible exit because a car was on fire blocking all four lanes of the motorway plus and knowing that central London traffic was backed up in all directions due to the start of the Olympic lanes, there was no way we could make it before intermission.  So we came back to Oxford.  But the show goes on...
