After a great morning of fishing the Kenai River, we had lunch in Cooper Landing before driving to the town of Seward. It didn’t take long to finish seeing all Seward had to offer. Just outside Seward is the Exit Glacier in the Kenai Fjord National Park. I convinced everyone to walk to the viewing platform and then Dad, Alex, Jane and I continued on up to the “Edge of the Glacier.” It was a very impressive sight:
After walking 2 ½ miles, we decided to have dinner in Seward at an excellent restaurant called “Ray’s” before returning to Cooper Landing and our cabin at Drifters Lodge where there was a campfire awaiting outside the cabin. Our view from our cabin looks over the lake and is spectacular!
