We left this morning for London and arrived at Emirates Stadium in time for the first match between Atletico Madrid and PSG (Paris St. Germain). There was a red card in the first half - the most excitement of that game. They tied 1-1. The real excitement was the second match between Arsenal and the Rangers. There were a lot of Ranger fans in the stands and they were LOUD! It was impressive how involved they were. They sang, chanted and stood the entire game. But they lost! Arsenal scored in the first few minutes of the game and again within 15 minutes. They scored their third goal in the second half for a final score of 3-0, Arsenal!
On a different note, we met Jordan and Colleen at Jamie's Italian in Oxford when we got back. It is a new restaurant in Oxford owned by Jamie Oliver (also known as the Naked Chef here in Britain). It was DELICIOUS! I am so glad I got to eat there before leaving Oxford!
