Final Festive Dinner

Each summer we begin and end our program with a party on the Great Lawn at St. John's and a Festive Dinner in the College Hall.  It is always a fun time but there is also a bit of sadness to mark the end of another year.

Tonight was the final Festive Dinner of the program and we began with a drama performance of Mankind by our Medieval Drama students and a garden party. We had a film crew come to video the event and to interview some students or our new website that is in the works.

After visiting in the garden we had a five course meal with fun conversation at my end of the table. Wouldn't you like that?  I did!  It was delicious!  Plus we were entertained by a talented group of singers lead by tutor Dr. David Skinner.

And after dinner all the faculty and staff met together to toast the summer and say goodbye.

It was a wonderful end to another fantastic summer at British Studies!
