Today we hired a driver from the hotel and headed South to the small mountain town of Zakopane. It is a mountain resort town in the Tetras Mountains - the highest in Central Europe - and where the 2006 Winter Olympics took place. It was a beautiful day for driving in the mountains (about a 2 hour + trip). We wandered through the town, visited the church, and then took a funicular to the top of the mountain. Dad called it Gatlinburg. There were definite similiarities! But the views were wonderful although it was a bit hazy.
Tomorrow's our last day in Poland!
