We made it to Krakow! The train was wonderful and we saw lots of countryside (rolling hills and farms). We checked into the Hotel Chopin and began our tour of Old Town, Krakow. The square at Old Town, Krakow may be the largest I have ever seen. It was huge with a market with shopping down the center and 2 churches on the square. The Church of St. Mary's holds one of the most magnificent alterpieces I have ever seen. It is carved wood and absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to share the pictures of St. John's but until then here is one from the square:
