Following Lawrence of Arabia

This morning we are departing our hotel (and internet access) for the desert, the Wadi Rum desert.  We will be transported to the desert then taken in 4x4 vehicles on a 2 hour jeep safari through wadi rum to see the sand dunes and to visit sites that include Nabatean rock inscriptions.  This is the backdrop for the famous Lawrence of Arabia film.  We're not sure what  we are having but there is a traditional bedouin lunch served out in the desert.  Tonight we will camp beneath the stars in a luxury desert camp:
