On Yesterday's fun schedule:
1) Tour of the Palace of Westminster where the British Parliament Meets
2) Lunch at the National Portrait Gallery's Rooftop Restaurant & short visit to the Gallery
3) Queuing for tickets for the Opening Night of the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall (although I had a ticket already)
Christine Riding gave a great talk about the use of Gothic architecture in designing the Palace of Westminster. Lunch was fun. And the concert was wonderful. My favorite was the Brahms, "Academic Festival Overture" but the 19-year old piano player was amazing too!
