Today starts my journey into the wild and probably my last post for several days. So here's a little on what we are looking for as we go on game drives for the next few days:
THE BIG FIVE: The Big Five include lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant.
This term was originally coined by big game hunters to refer to the most dangerous animals to hunt but for my group it is simply the top animals to see in their natural habitat.
I'm adopting this motto for the journey: "Take only photographs, leave only footprints" ~ and you know I'll take lots of photographs!
