December is a busy time of the year. A time to celebrate together all the good times (and bad) that we have experienced over the last year and a time to spend much needed relaxation with family and good friends.
I've been wanting to see Home Free in concert for awhile and I finally got my wish. The JMA ladies all got together for a festive night at the Tennessee Theater. We successfully made it to Knoxville although it was a bit of a hairy ride with Suzanne at the wheel. We tried out Tupelo Honey in Market Square before heading to the concert. It was amazing! I knew they would be so good live - they have great showmanship and lots of charisma on stage. I think Debbie Ottinger found her a new crush too - she was hilarious!

Reagan's school program is a new way we are kicking off the holiday season as well. It's fun to get to see all the kids at Catlettsburg show off their singing skills for Christmas.

The next weekend was packed full with both the JMA Christmas breakfast at Mama's Farmhouse and the McCarter Family Christmas party at Hidden Mountain Clubhouse.

Christmas Eve is always about celebrating Ashley's birthday. Charleston called me that morning to make sure I had her daddy a cake.
Charleston: He wants a Hummingbird Cake with white icing and sprinkles. Me: Pecan Sprinkles? C: No, Rainbow sprinkles. Me: Are you sure? C: Yes, Rainbow Sprinkles.

The day after Christmas we spent with the family in North Carolina. August got to meet his cousin Killian who is just a few months older than he is. We got to visit with all of the AUnts except Hester. Christmas is about family so it's always great to see as many as possible.
