My cousin Charity and her husband Ben are expecting their first child together. The new baby boy will join four older siblings sometime in mid-May. We are all very excited about the new addition (although no one has joined Charity in reading the Johns Hopkin Guide to Pregnancy!). Tonight we threw a shower for the mother-to-be.
The details: The shower was held at The Tin Roof Cafe (reopening tomorrow, 1 April at 11 AM - check out Summer's blog). The hostesses for the shower were: Laurie Faulker, Lori Ed Giammo, Misty Hedrick, Stefanie Johnson, Amy McCarter, Lisa McCarter, Brenda Smith and Summer Smith. (Thanks also to Cindy McCarter and Susan McCarter for their help). We came, we ate, we visited and Charity was "showered" with gifts for the baby (who will likely be named James).
