Dad, Ashley, Alex & I made the trip to North Carolina this weekend for an early Christmas celebration with the Johnson Family. Although a few of my cousins were absent, all of Dad's sisters were there. We had lots of food and fellowship on Saturday! I'm still committed to putting together a Johnson Family Cookbook because these recipes really should be published for all to share. I think after Christmas I will have a few minutes to spare. It was a quick trip for us but a good one. Hopefully we will get back across the mountain soon after the New Year.
