Rehearsing

Weddings are a big production. They take months of planning.  So a little practice is required to get the big day just right.  And all that work deserves celebration.  Show up, stand where they tell you, walk when they tell, get a dinner in reward.

The wedding was moved from outdoors into the barn so a reconfiguration was required.

We hosted Alex and Sheena's Rehearsal Dinner at Courthouse Donuts/ Dyers Downtwon in Downtown Sevierville.  Jennifer opened her shop less than a year ago and it is a wonderful place.  She exposed the bricks and opened the ceilings.  Sheena and Alex love to go to music festivals (Murlfest, Bonaroo, Telluride) so in the windows that used to house the Cornerstore's selection of men's clothes, we hung posters announcing the event.  There were just a few nods around the space to this love of music like the posters and directional sign.  Dinner was excellent, catered by Copper Cellar Catering but the favorite was the donut dessert designed by Jagger.  A donut with a name like, "Moves by Jagger" what's not to like.

The event was filled with the wedding party and a few additional family and friends so you know it was full of love and laughter.  It was a wonderful night and a beautiful way to kick off the wedding weekend.
