Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

For as long as I can remember, it has been the rule of the Johnson Family that you can open 1 gift and 1 gift only on Christmas Eve. It didn't take me long to figure out that that 1 gift was always going to be new pajamas and those new jammies were to be worn Christmas morning. This year, the gift was there as always but no one got to open it - just Reagan! He opened everyone's for them! And he got just as excited about the 5th pair of pj's as the 1st even though every pair was just the same!

Maybe he was more excited to play in the tissue paper...  Brenda & Butch arrived in time to meet Charleston Elizabeth and to see Reagan open thier present and play some more:

Christmas morning started a little later than usual due to late nights putting the final touches together for morning.  But once everyone arrived it was a wonderful time of togetherness!

What a blessing to have such a time with those we love.  And amidst all the food and all the gifts, at the heart of our celebration, we are blessed to remember the birth of Christ.

Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
II Corinthians 9:15 (KJV)
