Our family celebration of Christmas started with all the family attending the Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion Service at First Baptist. It is always a special way to begin the holiday with a remembrance of why we celebrate this holiday each year. Christmas Eve is Ashley's birthday and we had a wonderful evening together with our family: Dad, me, Alex, Ashley, Heather, Reagan and Heather's mother, Ann. After opening our new pajamas it was time for bed. Reagan had decorated cookies for Santa (note all the sugar piled on in the pictures - he loved the shaker!); I'm sure Santa loved them as much as he did.
Christmas morning was all about family with Steve & Tyler, Joe, Bryson & Jeremiah joining us for breakfast. Reagan got a basketball hoop at his house from Santa but enjoyed the bowling set, truck and legos from us. Then he wanted to play ball "with the boys" as he called Tyler, Bryson and Jeremiah.
Sunday afternoon Dad, Alex & I headed to North Carolina for lunch with all my aunts and uncles and a few cousins too. It was a relaxing day with family we do not get to see often enough but it was a short trip - we headed back to Sevierville and back to work immediately. Even though it is back to work, we have lots of visual memories to share:
