After the Rehearsal, it is traditional for the Groom's family to host a dinner for the Wedding Party, thier families, and close friends. The Rehearsal Dinner was held on Friday, 10 December at the Rel Maples Institute for Culinary Arts, Walters State Community College. The food was amazing and the roasts were great fun. I especially want to say thank you to my Aunt Brenda and her helpers, Lee and Scottie, for all thier help with the decorations. It was truly a beautiful event.
As a special note: This day was shared with our grandparent's wedding anniversary. Smith Parks Johnson and Stella Johnson were married 10 December 1920 and shared 34 years of marriage, a true representation of the love and life Ashley and Heather are starting together.
